Jasmine N. Mans (well known poet/activist) is the epitome of expression; for as long as I've known her, her artistry has yet failed to amaze me. At the 2008 Urban Word NYC Teen Poetry Slam Finals she performed "Like His Daughter;" this poem which is unbelievably powerful and uplifting has reached over 61,700 viewers around the world. Her soul is beyond extraordinary and she has a heart of gold, as cliché as that sounds, it's true! Not only is she a phenomenal artist of poetry, fashion, and art; she is actually a good friend of mine!Urban Soul!
